Therapy Portal Access

Here at Mountain Paths, it is our goal to help you overcome your most difficult mental struggles. We have a caring staff that aims to help you succeed through your own personal mental health journey. Each of our staff members handles a variety of different clients with their individual obstacles. Our team wants to provide you with the tools to overcome anything that may be weighing on you. Insurance– We take most commercial insurance here at Mountain Paths Counseling. If you have questions about your specific insurance plan, please reach out and text this number, (801) 214-1565. Please include your full name, date of birth, and insurance cards so we can properly reference your insurance. 

Billing & Payments– If you do not have insurance or our office doesn't take your insurance, you can request to pay our office directly. Our cash rates are subject to change depending on which provider you are seeing at our clinic, or due to economic inflation.  For any complicated billing questions, you can always call our office and ask for our Office Manager. 

Cancellation Policy – Company policy states that if you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours, you will have an added fee of $75 to your balance. If you cancel less than three hours before your appointment, or are considered a "no show", you will be charged a $150 fee. Insurance does not pay for these fees. These fees will come out of pocket and need to be paid promptly. If needed, a payment plan can be discussed with our office manager, Amy. Thank you for your understanding. 

Waitlist – If, for any reason, our therapists are unable to take on new clients at the moment you call. We can put you on a waitlist for the therapist you believe would be a good fit for you. Some of our therapists have a very short wait time and are always looking for new clients. Others may already have an extensive waitlist, and it could take a few months to get in. Referrals are definitely preferred, but we are willing to work with all. Waitlists and times are always changing, so please don't hesitate to call/text.
